Meet the Staff
Our dentists and highly trained staff welcome you.
Our commitment to Syracuse and the community extends through many generations
of our patients. Dr. Jeffrey Watson, and his father, Dr. Joseph Watson before
him, and Dr. Steven Zdep and his son, Dr. Steven R. Zdep, have had the privilege
and tradition to serve these families.
Please allow us to briefly introduce ourselves. We are excited that you have
chosen our office for your dental care, and look forward to meeting you and
your family.
Steven F. Zdep DDS
The Syracuse area has been home since day one. Born on
the near east side, and raised in Liverpool, Steven graduated from Christian
Brothers Academy and LeMoyne College, where he met his wife, Judy (LeMoyne ’74),
before attending Georgetown University School of Dentistry.
Steve and Judy raised their three children, living in
Baldwinsville since 1978. “We are blessed with a wonderful family, and
I am especially honored to be in dental practice with my son.”

on the personal relationship and TRUST that each patient shares. I am committed
to earning that trust through gentle and understanding care.”
Steven R. Zdep DDS
Dr. Steve graduated Christian Brothers Academy and LeMoyne College earning
a Bachelor of Science in Biology before attending State University at Buffalo
Dental School.
Steve and his wife, Stacy, live in Fayetteville with their daughters, Sara
and Julie. As a four year member of the LeMoyne lacrosse team, Steve and Stacy
(LeMoyne class of 2000) maintain a strong and fond affiliation with the college.
Jeffrey Watson DDS
A life resident of Syracuse, Jeff graduated Nottingham
High School, University of Maryland (Class of ’59), and University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry.
Joining his father, Dr. Joseph Watson (deceased) in 1965, Jeff started a true
tradition of ‘family dental care’ that carries on through generations
of our patients.
Jeff and his wife, Tenny, reside in Fayetteville, where their children and
grandchildren are a wonderful source of happiness.
Give Kids a Smile Day
Our annual Give Kids a Smile Day was held on March 20th at our downtown Syracuse location. The doctors and staff volunteered to give approximately 20 students from Blodgett Elementary School free oral hygiene visits and exams. Children who needed additional care including sealants, restorations, or extractions were treated by the doctors. Each year, everyone involved has a great time. Thanks to all who participated and we look forward to next year.

Continuing Education and Community Involvement
We are dedicated to continual learning and growth through a commitment to attending educational courses and learning new techniques throughout the year. Each member of our team maintains a current CPR certification.
We appreciate the opportunity to give back to the Syracuse
community by participating in events like “Special Olympics”, “Give Kids A Smile”, “Mommy and Me Tots”, and “Children’s Dental Health Month” by educating and providing dentistry for those in need. We serve ‘on call’ for
the emergency needs of students at LeMoyne College and Syracuse University
while students are away from their homes.
For over thirty years our doctors have been instructors with the dental residency program at SUNY Upstate Hospital.
